Industrial Pressure Reducing Valves
Pressure reducing valves, commonly referred to as PRVs, are used to reduce a higher inlet pressure to a lower, controlled downstream pressure. They help maintain a stable outlet pressure even when upstream pressure or system demand changes.
Industrial Valve Outlet supplies pressure reducing valves for a wide range of applications, including water, compressed air, steam and other compatible industrial media. PRVs are widely used within manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, heating systems, water distribution systems, process plants and pneumatic installations.
Choosing the correct pressure reducing valve depends on several factors, including inlet pressure, required outlet pressure, flow rate, pipe size, operating temperature and the media being controlled. Valve construction and material should also be considered, particularly where corrosion resistance, hygiene or higher operating temperatures are required.
Our range includes pressure reducing valves in different body materials, sizes, connection types and pressure ranges. Depending on the application, options may include screwed or flanged connections as well as bronze, brass, stainless steel and other suitable materials.
Correct sizing is particularly important with pressure reducing valves. An incorrectly sized valve can cause poor pressure regulation, excessive noise or premature wear.
Many of our industrial pressure reducing valves are available for fast UK delivery. If you require assistance selecting or sizing a PRV, contact us with your inlet pressure, desired outlet pressure, flow rate, medium and connection size and we can help identify a suitable valve.
