The TPR15 valve from RWC steps in when controls fail, releasing excess pressure and temperature to prevent serious issues.

The valves are designed to be fitted to the upper portion of a hot water cylinder, as this is where the hottest temperatures in the system will be found. If the system rises above 95°C, the wax mixture within the element of the temperature probe will expand, this will lift the valve off its seat and release water to waste, thereby reducing the pressure within the cylinder.

Also, if the water pressure increases (without temperature increase) the valve will stay closed until the set pressure of the relief mechanism is reached, at which point the valve will again open, and the excess pressure is relieved.

Some models come complete with a PTFE coating on the MBSP inlet thread, which can save valuable time on installation.

Features and benefits:

- Protect against temperature rising beyond 95°C
- Prevent over pressurisation
- Twist top cartridge design for easy servicing
- Range of different pressure settings and different probe lengths available
- Complete with PTFE coating (some models)

Specification

Size: 1/2" x 15mm
Connections: BSP Male Inlet x Compression Outlet
Materials: Brass
Medium: Hot water only
Set Pressure (Set & Locked): 7 Barg
Temperature Relief: +90 to 95 degC
Discharge Capacity: 10kW
Probe Length: 95mm
Product Code: PTEM550854
Notes: With PTFE, WRAS approved

Datasheets

Reliance RWC TPR15 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 1/2" x 15mm 7 Bar - PTEM550854 Datasheet

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0939/2344/3024/files/Reliance_RWC_TPR15_Pressure_Temperature_Relief_Valve_1_2_x_15mm_7_Bar_-_PTEM550854.jpg?v=1780050596
https://industrialvalveoutlet.com/products/reliance-rwc-tpr15-pressure-temperature-relief-valve-1-2-x-15mm-7-bar-ptem550854
