The valve is selected for the required set pressure. As the pressure rises, when the discharge pressure is reached the valve opens and discharges to atmosphere, preventing the pressure within the system reaching levels which would be dangerous for the boiler, hot water storage cylinder and any personnel in the adjacent vicinity.

Specification

Size: 1/2" x 15mm
Connections: BSP Male Inlet
Materials: Brass
Medium: Air and Water
Set Pressure: 4 Barg
Discharge Flowrate: 178.2 kg/hr
Max Boiler Rating: 103.3 kW
Temperature: +5 to +110 degC
Product Code: 312405CST
Notes: WRAS approved, CE marked

Datasheets

Altecnic / Caleffi 1/2" M x F 312 Series Safety Pressure Relief Valve 4 Bar - 312405CST Datasheet

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0939/2344/3024/files/Altecnic-Caleffi-1-2-M-x-F-312-Series-Safety-Pressure-Relief-Valve-4-Bar-312405CST.jpg?v=1780050618
https://industrialvalveoutlet.com/products/altecnic-caleffi-312-series-safety-pressure-relief-valve-1-2-m-x-15-mm-4-bar-312405cst
